Join us as we welcome Harlequin Editor-at-Large and Book Doctor Leslie Wainger, author of Writing a Romance Novel for Dummies, as the headliner for our 2009 Workshop - Writers' CPR: Jumpstart the Heart of Your Manuscript. Ms. Wainger will be discussing the most common writing mistakes she sees on submissions and the pros and cons from cold read submissions. Additionally, local authors Kira Sinclair and Lynn Raye Harris will uncover the mysteries of creating sexual tension. Attendees will receive a primer on the submissions process from local author Kimberly Lang. The workshop will wrap up with a Q&A session featuring a published author panel, including NYT bestseller Linda Howard, Beverly Barton, and Linda Winstead Jones.
